Eva Burd - Realtor
At 17 years old did you know what you wanted to be? I did... I wanted to be a Realtor. As life happens, this wasn't my first path. Instead, I spent 20+ years in Corporate America as a Buyer and as a Financial Planner. I learned a lot of incredible skills in these roles: negotiation, financial management, marketing, people management, communication skills, and work ethic. I wouldn't trade my first career for anything. The skills I learned have made me the person... and the Realtor that I am today.
Fast forward 20+ years and I made a huge move and decided to pursue my lifelong dream and I became a Realtor. My first year in the business I was voted Realtor of the Year by my office and was ranked in the top 20% of Realtors in Lee County. In 2017, I doubled my sales volume.
What sets me apart? I am not a salesperson. I will never pressure someone to buy a home before they are ready. I got into real estate because I wanted to make a difference and I wanted to help people. I treat my Real Estate business as a BUSINESS! I will never be the agent to cold call or door knock.. I hate it when people do it to me - so I would never do it to someone else. What I do is: answer my phone 24/7, listen to customer's needs and work as hard as possible to help my buyers and sellers fulfill their dreams, and most importantly, I care about my customers! I use my marketing, negotiation, and management skills to get homes sold and to help buyers find their dream homes.
I am very fortunate to live in a community that allows me to do the things I love: shopping, boating, going to the beach, eating seafood, attending arts and crafts shows, and going to concerts and Spring Training baseball games!
I graduated at the top of my class from Saint Leo University with a 4.0 GPA. I have lived on the West Coast of Florida since I was four years old. This is my home - and I love it. I am so lucky to live in paradise. I started my real estate career so I could help others do the same! I have two rescued Golden Retriever dogs that have taken over my home, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
My motto: Live where other people vacation!
